Privacy Policy

GuideMe ("we", "our", or "us") operates Mail Sheet, a Google Sheets™ add-on that parses Gmail™ messages and writes extracted data into spreadsheets. This Privacy Policy explains what data we access, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Access

Mail Sheet requests the following Google™ account permissions:

Gmail™ (read-only): To search and read email messages based on filters you configure. We never modify, delete, or send emails.
Google Sheets™: To write extracted data into the spreadsheet where the add-on is installed.
User email address: To identify your account for subscription and quota management.
Script triggers: To run scheduled background automation if you enable it.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not store the content of your emails on our servers.
We do not share your email data with third parties.
We do not sell your data.

3. AI Processing (Optional)

If you use AI Mode, the body of each email (up to 3,000 characters) is sent to Google Gemini™ API via our secure proxy at mail-sheet.com/api/gemini solely to extract the fields you specify. Email content is not stored after processing.

4. Data We Store

Your email address — stored in our database (Supabase) to manage your subscription plan and usage quota.
Usage counters — number of imports and AI calls used in the current billing period.
Add-on configuration — saved search settings are stored in Google Apps Script™ User Properties, which are tied to your Google account and never leave Google's infrastructure.

5. Third-Party Services

Google Gemini™ API — used for AI-based data extraction. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Supabase — used to store user accounts and subscription data. Subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy.

6. Data Retention

Your account data (email address, plan, usage counters) is retained as long as you have an active account. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

7. Children's Privacy

Mail Sheet is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or within the add-on.
